Care in Action
With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.

Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.

Right now, we’re seeking a Partnership Programs Advisor who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role
As the Partnership Programs Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing the TAC’s road safety and community initiatives through strategic partnerships. You'll manage sponsorships that foster deeper audience connections and drive behaviour change, aligning with the Victorian Government’s Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030. With a focus on collaboration, you’ll manage contracts, negotiate benefits and ensure successful delivery, all while maximising the TAC’s impact across Victoria.

About the Team

  • This role will be a part of our Community Engagement and Partnerships team within the Community Division, responsible for managing TAC sponsorship and engagement activities, fostering partnerships, and promoting road safety messages.
  • You will be supported by a Manager who encourages collaboration, provides regular one-on-one sessions, and empowers creative autonomy while offering guidance as needed.
  • Working closely with a friendly and inclusive team of six creative professionals, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where mutual support and innovation are valued, and regular meetings ensure alignment on key initiatives.

What we’re looking for
Stakeholder and Partnership Management

You’ll excel at building and maintaining constructive relationships with partners, creative agencies, and media, ensuring smooth delivery of initiatives. Your negotiation and advocacy skills will drive collaboration and help align competing priorities to achieve project goals.

Project and Campaign Management
Your proven ability to manage campaigns or projects, from goal-setting to evaluation, is crucial. You’ll monitor performance, track objectives, and provide actionable insights to ensure successful outcomes and continuous improvement in partnership activities.

Effective Communication and Reporting
With excellent oral and written communication skills, you’ll present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences. You’ll provide detailed reports and evaluations, offering recommendations that inform future partnership strategies.

Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Partnerships Program Advisor, you’ll also:

Make a positive difference
Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.

Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering a corporate incentive, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.

Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
