Right now, we’re seeking a Road Safety Program Manager who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role
The Program Manager will oversee the establishment and delivery coordination of TAC-funded road safety infrastructure programs.  This role involves working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning to plan, develop, deliver, evaluate and establish governance and monitoring related to TAC’s infrastructure funded programs. This role require travel to Melbourne and regional Victoria.

 About the Team

• This role will be part of our Road Safety Infrastructure Programs branch within the Road Safety Division, responsible for overseeing TAC-funded road safety programs.

• You will work closely with the Director of Road Safety Infrastructure within a team of 6,

• The team values autonomy, trust, and flexibility, allowing you to adapt to various office locations based on business needs.

What we’re looking for

Program Leadership and Oversight
You will actively lead and manage road safety infrastructure programs and related projects, including the planning, development, delivery oversight and program governance that includes benefit realisation, risk and financial management.  

Stakeholder Management
Foster and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders, including the within the TAC, and with the Department of Transport. Your ability to engage effectively with these groups will be crucial for the smooth execution and support of road safety initiatives.

Governance and Accountability
Ensure strong governance practices are in place, including monitoring KPIs, budget, schedule adherence, and risk management. Provide regular, accurate reporting on program performance and post-delivery reviews to the TAC Board and other key stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
